Head of Risk Strategy

Job Summary

Leading the credit strategy and risk outcomes, the full-time Head of Risk Strategy will take end-to-end ownership of data integrity, model performance, and portfolio management in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the performance and outcome of statistical and machine learning models, ensuring effective underwriting decisions
• Direct the end-to-end credit strategy, translating data insights into underwriting policies and approval strategies
• Lead a team of risk specialists, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and accountability

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in credit risk within fintech, marketplace lending, or banking
• Expertise in credit strategy for unsecured loan products
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and statistical modeling for credit decisioning
• Proven ability to translate model outputs into actionable underwriting policies
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with various stakeholders
