Job Summary
Seeking a fractional Head of Sales, the remote contract position will manage the full sales cycle for mid-market manufacturers in the automation sector, focusing on building a pipeline and closing deals within the first three months.
Key responsibilities
- Build and define the sales pipeline and roadmap to close deals with mid-market manufacturers
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing, partnering with the Founder
- Engage with system integrators to enhance partnerships and drive sales productivity
Required qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in B2B sales within the automation, robotics, or adjacent industrial tech sectors
- Proven track record of selling to mid-market manufacturing companies (50-500 employees)
- Experience working with system integrators and understanding their sales processes
- Strong ability to articulate ROI and outcomes to decision-makers in manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with core verticals such as palletizing, warehouse automation, and lab automation
