Job Summary
Owning the ad revenue engine for newsletters, podcasts, and social media, the full-time Head of Sales will build and manage a sales organization, develop revenue plans, and close strategic deals while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the sales team, progressively hiring additional salespeople as needed
- Own the revenue plan by building and managing the annual revenue forecast and CRM implementation
- Rebuild packaging and pricing strategies for various inventory types, including newsletters and podcasts
Required Qualifications
- Proven sales leadership experience in media, newsletters, podcasts, or creator businesses
- Background in ad-supported media economics, including CPMs and inventory management
- Demonstrated ability to close large, multi-product deals with enterprise clients
- Experience in building sales teams and hiring specialists for diverse inventory
- Strong systems-oriented mindset with experience in CRM implementation and pipeline management
