Job Summary

Transforming scientific talent identification, the full-time Head of Scientific Founder Discovery & Insights will design and enhance a data-driven selection system, proactively source exceptional scientific founders, and translate pipeline data into strategic insights, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve the end-to-end fellow selection system to ensure a fair and credible experience for applicants
• Capture and analyze data to provide insights on emerging science and innovation trends, shaping Activate's impact strategy
• Develop tools and workflows that scale the selection process and explore new product offerings based on pipeline intelligence

Required qualifications

• Experience in product and systems thinking, with a focus on creating structured workflows that deliver measurable value
• Proven track record of owning high-stakes projects from inception to delivery with successful outcomes
• Strong ability to translate complex data into structured insights and maintain data integrity
• Advanced training in science, engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to align diverse teams toward a common vision
