Head of Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Security to oversee security strategy, architecture, operations, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Mature the Security & Compliance Program by auditing and improving existing security measures
• Protect the Data Pipeline by securing the lifecycle of training data and embedding security in engineering processes
• Enable the Business by translating security risks for executives and fostering a security-aware culture

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in security roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
• Deep technical foundation with experience in architecture, infrastructure, and code review
• Experience building or maturing a security program in an early-stage or high-growth company
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity/access management, and data protection
• Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
