Head of Security and IT

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Security & IT to build and lead their security and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement cybersecurity frameworks and manage risk through threat detection and incident response
• Provide end-user support, manage device lifecycle, and coordinate IT support for remote offices
• Design and maintain enterprise network architecture while managing vendor partnerships and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security, IT, network infrastructure, or related fields
• Experience with digital health or healthcare startups preferred
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and risk compliance (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA)
• Familiarity with securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proven ability to manage complex projects on time and within budget
