Head of Security & Privacy Engineering
Job Summary
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the full-time Head of Security & Privacy Engineering will define and execute the company's security and privacy strategy, ensuring AI products and cloud infrastructure are secure, compliant, and resilient in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own all aspects of Security, Privacy, and Compliance across the company, developing and enforcing relevant policies and standards
- Lead cybersecurity incident response and continuous risk assessment programs while partnering with the executive team to align security strategy with business goals
- Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of security and privacy engineers, fostering a culture of proactive risk management and innovation
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience, ideally within financial services or regulated environments
- Experience securing AI-driven platforms and awareness of emerging AI risks
- Strong experience in securing cloud-native infrastructure, particularly AWS
- Deep knowledge of data protection, encryption, and threat modeling for sensitive financial data
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
