Job Summary

To support the evolution of the physician recruiting industry, the full-time Head of Software Engineering will define and execute a technology roadmap, lead the engineering team, and ensure high-quality project delivery in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define a multi-year technology roadmap for modernizing legacy platforms while aligning engineering priorities with business strategy
• Lead and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and attracting top talent
• Own engineering delivery, ensuring reliable project execution and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience with significant hands-on technical roles
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing teams
• Proven experience in legacy system modernization or technology platform migration
• Expert-level understanding of web application architecture and modern web technologies
