Head of Strategic Finance

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing fintech company, the full-time remote Head of Strategic Finance will manage the financial engine behind expansion, including building P&L models, overseeing unit economics, and leading vendor negotiations while collaborating closely with the Executive Team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and run the company's P&L, forecasting, and long-range growth models
• Lead RFP, procurement, and contract negotiations for new services and partnerships
• Develop and manage the Analytics/BI team to ensure reliable financial reporting and decision-making

Required qualifications

• 8-15+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or top-tier consulting combined with strategic finance in a high-growth fintech environment
• Proven experience in building financial models and owning unit economics for subscription or transaction-based businesses
• Deep understanding of fintech unit economics, including LTV:CAC ratios and CAC payback periods
• Strong data fluency, including proficiency in SQL and managing analytics teams
• Experience leading RFP procurement negotiations and quantifying economic outcomes
