Key Responsibilities

• Manage underwriting policies and processes for various small business loans using financial analyses and credit reports
• Continuously improve the loan underwriting process to enhance borrower experience while ensuring sound credit decisions
• Lead and develop the underwriting team, fostering a culture of credit excellence and collaboration with other departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, and risk management, particularly in small business asset-based lending
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of underwriters
• Strong knowledge of credit principles and compliance regulations
• Proven ability to implement process improvements that enhance business operations
