Health Advocate

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Health Advocate will engage with Medicare members through inbound and outbound calls to promote health screenings and services, while providing education and support to enhance health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to assist members and providers with healthcare services, screenings, vaccinations, and medication refills
• Overcome barriers to member health and deliver empathetic, professional conversations to enhance the member experience
• Document interactions accurately in member health records and provide education to empower members in making informed health decisions

Required qualifications

• Professional communication skills with strong active listening and interpersonal abilities
• High computer literacy, including troubleshooting skills and proficiency with Windows and web-based applications
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable remote workspace with hard-wired connectivity
• Experience in a call center or outreach role involving member or consumer interaction
• Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and adapt to a fast-paced changing environment
