Job Summary
Dedicated to improving health outcomes, the full-time Health Advocate will engage with Medicare members through inbound and outbound calls to facilitate health screenings, medications, and services while providing empathetic support and education.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to assist members and providers in accessing healthcare services, screenings, and medication refills
- Work through barriers to promote members' health and deliver an exceptional member experience
- Document conversations accurately in members' health records and provide education to support informed health decisions
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare, customer service, telemarketing, or sales
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology and care management concepts
- Proficiency with Windows and web-based applications, along with high computer literacy
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and suitable remote workspace with hard-wired connectivity
- High School Diploma or Equivalent G.E.D
