Job Summary

Supporting a major insurance company, the part-time remote Health and Safety Manager will lead the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage initiatives to meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements while tracking operational and safety risks
• Communicate findings and concerns to stakeholders, providing recommendations to prevent risks and improve compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience and education may be considered
• Additional certifications as required by local authorities
• Strong leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality and efficiency
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to handle sensitive and complex information effectively
