Health and Safety Partner

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive and collaborative Health and Safety Partner, this full-time remote position will manage occupational health and workplace safety tasks, providing technical support and guidance to project teams while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations across various projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide coaching and support on health and safety policies, monitoring compliance and performance indicators
• Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify potential workplace hazards
• Support the development and review of project-specific Health and Safety Plans for low to medium risk projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Health and Safety or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a health and safety role within a similar work environment
• Relevant Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification or ability to obtain
• Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and familiarity with MSHA standards
• Experience in incident management and corrective/preventative action development
