Health and Safety Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting the implementation of EHS programs, the full-time remote Health and Safety Specialist will promote workplace safety, assist with compliance activities, and maintain documentation while collaborating with various teams across the company.
Key responsibilities
- Support EHS policies and procedures, including electrical safety, confined spaces, and HazCom
- Assist with incident documentation, investigations, and tracking EHS corrective actions to completion
- Prepare employee communications and participate in job hazard analyses and risk assessments
Required qualifications
- Degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 1-3 years of experience supporting EHS management systems and programs
- Safety certifications such as ASP, GSP, OSHA 10-hour, or NFPA 70E
