Health Behavior Interventionist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a part-time Health Behavior Interventionist.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver telephone-based individual protocol-based behavioral interventions for weight loss
• Track patient attendance using online survey software and document adverse events
• Manage scheduling for individual sessions and attend weekly supervision meetings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Health Education & Behavior, Nutrition, or related area, or 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Preference for candidates with relevant certification or post-graduate work towards certification
• Experience in delivering behavioral or lifestyle counseling interventions
• Experience interacting with healthcare patients
