Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Health Care Customer Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound calls to resolve billing and payment issues, provide information regarding insurance and financial assistance, and ensure adherence to client-specific protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Handle calls to address billing and payment inquiries while utilizing established work queues
  • Respond professionally to patient/account holder requests for information and payment arrangements
  • Investigate client inquiries and ensure compliance with applicable laws such as FDCPA and HIPAA
Required qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a call center or customer service role with public interaction
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, and healthcare insurance preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
