Health Care Program Manager

Job Summary

To oversee and manage complex clinical programs such as cost stewardship and care management, the remote temporary Health Care Services Program Manager will collaborate with program sponsors and cross-functional teams to ensure successful development, implementation, and sustainment of program initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develops project scope, work plans, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with project sponsors and teams
• Manages stakeholder relationships to achieve targeted program outcomes and oversees program teams to identify risks and opportunities
• Maintains data and statistical reports to monitor program progress and provides education and training on new program elements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in project or program management within healthcare or healthcare insurance operations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights
• Experience managing complex projects and partnering with external vendors and stakeholders
• Knowledge of health plan and clinical terminology, operations, and trends
