Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner to review, evaluate, and process health claims for insurance reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify healthcare claims submitted by policyholders or medical providers
• Process claims information accurately, applying appropriate insurance guidelines
• Communicate with healthcare providers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in healthcare claims processing or medical billing preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding standards (ICD, CPT)
• Experience with office and/or computer systems preferred
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
