Health Economist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Military Health Economist.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical and economic models to evaluate healthcare interventions, costs, and outcomes
• Conduct cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit, and budget impact analyses using healthcare utilization and claims data
• Analyze large datasets from electronic health records (EHRs), claims, surveys, and other sources to identify trends and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in health economics, Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience conducting health economic and/or statistical analyses in a public health or healthcare setting
• Proficiency in statistical software such as R, SAS, Stata, or Python
• Experience working with healthcare datasets, including claims, EHR, or survey data
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or higher
