Health Economist

Job Summary

To support innovative health and social policies, the full-time Bachelor's-level Health Economist will assist with quantitative research activities, analyze large health-related datasets, and contribute to project management while working remotely or from the Research Triangle Park, NC office.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with quantitative research activities, including data analysis, statistical modeling, and writing analytic reports
• Analyze large health-related datasets such as Medicare enrollment and claims data
• Contribute to project management tasks, including scheduling meetings and preparing documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, or Data Science
• Experience with statistical programming packages like Python, R, or SQL
• Interest in health services and health economics research
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
