Health Informatics Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Informatics Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory data analysis and data mining of healthcare claims and authorizations data
• Design, document, develop and roll out financial, clinical and utilization analyses using various computing tools
• Provide status reports detailing project progress and coordinate analytic efforts with staff or consultants

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or Mathematics, or equivalent experience
• 2 years of IT or analytics/informatics experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of transact-SQL (MS SQL or Oracle) experience
• Experience with healthcare medical and pharmacy claims data manipulation and analysis
• Master's degree in a technical or analytic field is preferred
