Health Informatics Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Informatics Analyst to design and develop financial, clinical, and utilization analyses.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory data analysis and data mining of healthcare claims and authorizations data
• Design, document, develop, and roll out financial, clinical, and utilization analyses
• Provide status reports detailing project progress and coordinate analytic efforts with staff and consultants

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 6 years experience in lieu of Bachelor's; 4 years experience with Associate's degree
• 2 years of relevant work experience
• 3+ years of transact-SQL (MS SQL or Oracle) experience
• Experience with healthcare medical and pharmacy claims data manipulation and analysis
• Master's degree in a technical or analytic field is preferred
