Health Information Data Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Health Information Management (HIM) Department, the full-time Medical Records Data Analyst will maintain applications, perform quantitative analyses for compliance, and serve as a liaison to ensure medical record accuracy, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support applications used by the HIM Department, ensuring effective operation and compliance
• Perform quantitative analyses of medical records to ensure adherence to organizational regulations and standards
• Develop specifications for application changes and report requests while coordinating with various stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in business, Health Information Management, Health Care Administration, or a related area preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in Health Information Management, data management, or data analysis
• Expert knowledge of Excel, databases, and Word applications; experience with Microsoft Access required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in project management and database development
• Excellent written and organizational skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical users
