Health Information Exchange Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Health Information Exchange (HIE) and Interoperability.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize the HIE portal for secure health data exchange
• Oversee OID administration and manage secure communication channels via DirectTrust
• Lead IT deployment for new projects and manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance and performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or equivalent
• Deep expertise in HIE configurations and Healthcare Interoperability
• Experience with patient portal management and direct messaging systems
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR)
• Proven project management skills in healthcare IT environments
