Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Information Exchange Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and providers seeking assistance with health information portals
  • Respond to patient requests for portal activation and manage account deactivations in compliance with policies and regulations
  • Provide help desk support and educate users on navigating health information systems and privacy aspects
Required Qualifications
  • Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology or a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Two years of experience in healthcare information technology or a similar customer support role
  • One year of experience in a high-volume telephone support or help desk position
  • Experience with electronic medical record applications and knowledge of patient confidentiality requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
