Health Information Management Analyst

Job Summary

Analyzing medical records for compliance with standards, the full-time Health Information Management Analyst will create reports, maintain databases, and track statistical information while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze medical records to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Generate reports and maintain databases to track trends and areas of concern
• Perform administrative and organizational analysis for hospital programs and activities

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred (RHIT) and Bachelor's Degree highly preferred (RHIA)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in administrative or operational analysis, with at least 1 year in medical record functions
• Knowledge of public administration principles and healthcare regulations
• Familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis techniques
