Health Information Management Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIM Associate to maintain the integrity and precision of patient records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patients' rights, including opting in and out of the HIM Exchange
• Place and manage flags on medical records in coordination with patients and clinical staff
• Facilitate corrections to medical records based on patient discrepancies and coordinate across departments

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Understanding of Health Informatics (HI)
• Experience using EPIC for managing medical records
• Detail-oriented and organized approach to handling sensitive information
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
• Experience in patient interaction and administrative tasks in a healthcare setting
