Health Information Management Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coordinator HIM.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates and monitors the lifecycle of the legal health record, focusing on workflow, productivity, quality, compliance, and process improvement
• Conducts quality assurance audits and ensures the integrity of both electronic and paper protected health information
• Facilitates and designs optimized workflows and procedures to meet clinical and business needs while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in HIM Department operations or a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology or related field
• Associate Degree in Health Information Technology or related field is preferred
• Registered Health Information Technologists (RHIT) or Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) credentials are preferred
