Health Information Management Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIM Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates the lifecycle of the legal health record and monitors operations within the Health Information Management Department
• Conducts quality assurance audits and ensures the integrity of both electronic and paper protected health information
• Facilitates the design of optimized workflows and processes to achieve desired operational results

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in HIM Department operations or a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology or related field
• Associate Degree in Health Information Technology or related field is preferred
• Registered Health Information Technologists (RHIT) or Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) credentials are preferred
