Health Information Management Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing health information management operations, the full-time remote Health Information Management Supervisor will manage daily workflows, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain effective partnerships with healthcare providers while supervising HIM-related activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily HIM workflow and assign work tasks as needed
• Conduct training for new hires and ongoing team development
• Prepare statistical reports and manage key performance indicators related to HIM activities

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of experience in an acute care facility related to Health Information Management
• 1 year of experience with hospital-based electronic medical records
• Computer skills are essential
• Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred
