Health Information Management Technician

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Health Information Management Technician for a full-time remote position, responsible for compiling, processing, and maintaining patients' medical records while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct routine releases of health information in accordance with company policy and legal regulations
• Review and analyze health information for record completion and deficiencies using electronic health record tools
• Provide customer service related to HIMS functions, assisting patients, vendors, and staff through various communication methods

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with medical records and/or health information management
• Completion of post-high school education in medical records and information systems or equivalent experience
• Strong technical skills in software applications and databases
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written formats
• Knowledgeable in accessing and utilizing electronic health record systems
