Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Information Specialist 1 (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information while maintaining confidentiality
• Manage patient health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
• Assist with administrative duties and respond to requests for patient records

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use office equipment
• Ability to commute between locations as needed
• Able to work overtime during peak seasons
• Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus
