Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Information Specialist I who will process billing record requests in compliance with HIPAA regulations and client-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, retrieve, and release billing records while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Process high volumes of billing record requests, meeting turnaround time and quality standards
• Maintain documentation and track workflow to ensure timely completion of requests

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred
• Ability to work in a remote environment and manage multiple requests
• Hands-on training will be provided during the first 30 days
