Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Information Technician III to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, process, and fulfill release of information requests with high accuracy
• Participate in workflows to prioritize requests and ensure departmental deadlines are met
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients and representatives regarding access to medical information

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma; associate degree in a relevant field preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• RHIT or RHIA certification preferred
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Experience in a customer service role under pressure
