Health Information Technology Faculty

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Faculty - Health Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Health Information Technology
• Engage with students through communication, live lectures, and timely feedback on assignments
• Assist with curriculum maintenance and resolve academic integrity issues

Required Qualifications

• Terminal degree or master's degree in Health Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline for those with a terminal degree in another field
• Experience teaching at the college/university level is preferred
• Applicable credentials from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., CCS, RHIT, RHIA)
• Two years of experience in the teaching discipline for certain qualifications
