Health Initiative Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Initiative Manager to oversee public health advocacy efforts related to FDA regulations and scientific integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage policy positions and advocacy strategies for the Health Initiative
• Oversee ongoing projects related to government advisory committees and medical device safety
• Mentor a Policy Associate and collaborate with staff on research and advocacy materials

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in public health policy and advocacy, particularly with FDA regulations
• Advanced degree, such as a JD, Master of Public Health, Master of Public Policy, or PhD
• Ability to analyze and interpret legal, financial, and scientific documents
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
