Health Insurance Examiner

Job Summary

To support a growing market conduct examinations team, the remote Health Insurance Examiner will assist with the enforcement of federal health insurance regulations, including drafting documents, analyzing health plan records, and synthesizing compliance findings.

Key responsibilities

• Draft necessary project documents, including requests for information and audit outlines
• Organize and analyze production of RFIs and project-related correspondence
• Review health plan records to demonstrate compliance or non-compliance with regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in health insurance or health care Compliance, Audit, or insurance operations
• 2+ years of insurance regulatory, compliance, or audit experience
• Experience reading and interpreting federal and state regulations
• Ability to obtain MCM or AIE designation within 6 months of hire
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat PDF
