Health Insurance Licensed Telesales Representative

Job Summary

To support telephonic enrollment efforts, the full-time Health Insurance Licensed Telesales Representative will assess health plan needs, verify Medicare/Medi-Cal eligibility, and facilitate enrollment while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate telephonic enrollments by presenting benefit information and assisting prospects with the enrollment process
• Adhere to state and regulatory guidelines, including following CMS approved scripts and department policies
• Manage follow-up calls and maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and SCAN benefits through required training and certifications

Required qualifications

• Valid Health Insurance License required (per CMS requirements)
• 2+ years of experience in telemarketing or a healthcare-related field
• Proven sales and customer service skills
