Job Summary
A company is looking for an Health Insurance Modeling Actuary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to pricing of individual marketplace product and operate models within specific state markets
- Learn technical aspects of modeling process and become a subject matter expert
- Develop standalone models for recurring analyses and make technical improvements to existing code
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of actuarial experience
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or equivalent international certification
- Member of American Academy of Actuaries or equivalent international membership
- Exposure to R, VBA, or other programming languages preferred
