Health IT Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health IT Specialist Part-Time (Remote) National.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential gaps/barriers within EHR systems at priority IDNs and Health Systems
• Develop and implement comprehensive customer-specific plans in collaboration with the broader Matrix team
• Act as a Health IT subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring patient safety gaps are addressed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required; Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with healthcare software, including Epic, Cerner, or similar roles
• Certifications such as CAHIMS, CHTS, CHISP, CPHIMS, and/or Epic are highly recommended
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare and health information technology
• Proven project management experience and ability to work independently
