Health & Life Insurance Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Health & Life Insurance Specialist will focus on re-selling Individual Medical Plans to existing members, enhancing retention efforts, and providing tailored recommendations based on member needs and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Provide detailed analysis to promote the value of existing health plans and counsel members on alternative options
• Engage proactively with at-risk members during rate increases or cancellation requests to prevent attrition
• Follow up on warm retention leads through outbound calls and formal written communications

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-4 years of Life & Health insurance experience within sales and/or member services
• Currently active Resident Health & Life Insurance License in at least one state, with willingness to obtain additional licenses
• High-speed internet with a minimum of 100 Mbps download speed; hardwired connection required
