Job Summary
A company is looking for a Dose Reconstructor to support the Energy Employee Occupational Illness Compensation Act (EEOICPA) Project work.
Key Responsibilities
- Produces and reports dose estimates and supporting methodology for claims received under EEOICPA
- Performs internal and external dose reconstructions and peer reviews, evaluating data quality and relevance
- Documents findings and writes detailed reports reflecting the results of dose reconstructions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree in health physics, environmental or natural sciences, or related field
- Two or more years of experience in health physics or radiation safety
- Familiarity with basic statistics and/or mathematical modeling
- Experience with radiation dose modeling software such as IMBA or Varskin is preferred
- U.S. citizenship is required for specific government contracts
