Job Summary

A company is looking for a Dose Reconstructor to support the Energy Employee Occupational Illness Compensation Act (EEOICPA) Project work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produces and reports dose estimates and supporting methodology for claims received under EEOICPA
  • Performs internal and external dose reconstructions and peer reviews, evaluating data quality and relevance
  • Documents findings and writes detailed reports reflecting the results of dose reconstructions


Required Qualifications
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in health physics, environmental or natural sciences, or related field
  • Two or more years of experience in health physics or radiation safety
  • Familiarity with basic statistics and/or mathematical modeling
  • Experience with radiation dose modeling software such as IMBA or Varskin is preferred
  • U.S. citizenship is required for specific government contracts
