Health Plan Data Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Plan Data Analyst responsible for data analytic strategies to lower healthcare costs for managed populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data analytic strategies to provide actionable insights for the Population Health team
• Engage with clients to review financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Utilize healthcare data analytics to assess provider ordering, member adherence, and operational effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field
• 4 years of analytic experience
• 2 years of experience working with analyses within a Health Plan/Payor organization
• Technical experience with analytical software tools and applications
• Knowledge of healthcare or insurance accounting methods and reporting standards
