Health Policy Advisor

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Duals Strategy and Policy Advisor will conduct research and analysis on health policy proposals, develop strategic insights, and create communication materials to support the Duals Integration Office's objectives in alignment with the company's mission to help individuals live healthier lives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage functional policy portfolio areas, facilitating cross-functional projects with minimal oversight
• Analyze legislation and regulations impacting Centene plans, providing policy expertise to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop position papers, comment letters, and presentations for senior executives on health policy issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Policy, Public Policy, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in health policy, public policy, healthcare analytics, or a related area
• Experience in delivering high-quality, data-driven communications to stakeholders
• Proven ability to prioritize and adapt to quick changes in business needs
• Strong relationship development skills with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
