Health Policy Advisor
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Duals Strategy and Policy Advisor will manage the development and execution of strategies for the Duals Integration Office, conduct research and analysis on policy proposals, and provide subject matter expertise while producing various communication materials.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage functional policy portfolio areas, facilitating cross-functional projects with minimal oversight
- Analyze legislation and regulations impacting Centene plans and products, providing strategic insights and policy expertise
- Develop and communicate position papers, policy briefs, and presentations for senior executives on health policy issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Policy, Public Policy, or related field; Master's Degree or relevant experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience in health policy, public policy, healthcare analytics, economics, law, or related fields
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, data-driven communications to various stakeholders
- Experience in prioritizing and adapting to quick changes in business needs
- Strong relationship development skills with internal and external stakeholders
