Health Scientist Senior Associate

Job Summary

Supporting a federal public health surveillance program focused on neurological conditions, the full-time remote Health Scientist Senior Associate will manage scientific, epidemiologic, and surveillance activities, translating complex data into high-quality scientific products for public health decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Support neuroepidemiology and surveillance science activities related to neurological conditions
• Conduct systematic literature reviews and assist in developing surveillance methods and case definitions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce scientific reports, presentations, and other public health products

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, epidemiology, health science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in public health, epidemiology, or scientific research
• Experience with public health surveillance, systematic reviews, and scientific writing
• Strong skills in reviewing and interpreting scientific literature and data products
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
