Health System Analyst SME
Job Summary
Providing senior-level healthcare systems analysis, the full-time Health System Analyst SME will support the Veterans Health Administration in designing, implementing, and evaluating the Elevated Risk Care Management Pilot to enhance suicide prevention-related care for Veterans, working remotely across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct current-state and future-state assessments of healthcare processes and identify operational gaps for the ERCM Pilot
- Assist in developing and redesigning business processes to improve care coordination and accountability for high-risk Veterans
- Provide health systems expertise throughout the development and implementation of the ERCM operating model, ensuring effective integration with existing VHA processes
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in healthcare administration, health systems management, public health, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in health systems analysis or healthcare operations
- Extensive experience with clinical and business processes within the Veterans Health Administration
- Experience with VHA medical center operations and knowledge of Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs)
- Proven ability to analyze and improve healthcare processes and workflows
