Health Training Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Training Specialist for the National Diabetes Prevention Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the Diabetes Prevention Program and Living Well with Diabetes Self-Management Program to participants in a virtual, group setting
• Document patient interactions in the medical record and communicate effectively with patients
• Work flexible hours, primarily during evenings, based on program needs and patient demand

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in health education, Public Health, or a closely related field preferred
• Certified Health and Wellness Coach preferred
• Experience in nutrition and/or physical activity preferred
• Ability to facilitate large and small groups preferred
• Public speaking skills preferred
