Healthcare Actuarial Analyst II
Job Summary
Serving as the subject matter expert for Medicare and Dual Eligible lines of business, the full-time remote Government Programs Actuarial Analyst II will manage key actuarial functions including valuation, pricing, and forecasting while coordinating analytics and reporting to monitor claims and risk score trends.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the monthly reserving process and communicate financial results to senior leadership
- Support quarterly forecasting and analysis for Premium Deficiency Reserve calculations
- Contribute to the development and completion of Medicare and D-SNP Bid, including data preparation and pricing support
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
- Minimum of 2+ years of full-time actuarial experience in a healthcare or insurance setting
- At least 1-2 years of healthcare actuarial experience, ideally supporting Medicare Advantage or government programs
